The Beauty Box For Superdrug
I’ve been seeing quite a few beauty boxes being talked about in the Twitter/Instagram circulation so it had me majorly curious, I opted for the Superdrug beauty box not only because I was recommended by friends but also because I spend at least £40 in Superdrug every payday anyway. So here’s hoping it reduces my cost slightly (it definitely won’t let’s be honest).
So the Superdrug beauty box: Glossybox can be found at http://www.glossybox.co.uk and there’s different subscription options too! I’ve opted for the £10 per month box mainly because you can pay each month for it and you can cancel at anytime s you can cancel it if you’re having a poor month (we definitely won’t lets be honest). There are other payment options though such as 6 months subscription for £9.50 per month but you pay for all 6 in advance (I’m poor boo!)
I was eagerly awaiting my Glossybox and got super excited when it came 🙂 For the price of it I wasn’t only impressed with the amount of products you get in there but also super impressed with the packaging, it comes in a solid box and it looks all gift wrapped too, I love a personal touch!
In my box I got:
B. Sheer Conditioning Lipstick £6.99
I wasn’t sure about this lipstick at first, I’m normally really committed to either Rimmel or Avon lipsticks, but I was pleased with how well this applied and stayed on throughout the day. Its a really good shade for either a toned down night time look or perfect for daywear whilst you’re at work/school/college or out for lunch/shopping with the girls. I forgot to take a picture of it on so look out for it on Twitter/Facebook/Instagram.
Eylure Volume 107 Lashes £5.35
I absolutely adore Eylure eyelashes already, it’s one of staple shopping essentials I pick up when I get paid, I usually only get the natural looking ones because I have THE worlds tiniest eyes but I’m so excited to try these out! I’m going to save them for a night out so keep an eye out on Twitter/Facebook/Instagram for when I do use them 🙂 If you do ever want some lashes I would always recommend Eylure though, they stick the best, the glue is awesome.
Simple Kind To Skin+ Illuminating Radiance Cream £8.99 for 50ml
I’m always really wary of trying out new face creams because I have skin that’s really prone to breakouts, however I thought I would give this a go as it is a Simple Kind to Skin+ product. I’ve used it for a couple of days now and I have fell in love with it, whether you wear it on its own or under a light cover of make-up (face powder/bronzer) it gives you a really nice dewy glow and leaves your skin really soft. I’m thankful for the Superdrug team for including this as it isn’t one I would of ever picked up. to try.
Collection Bronze Glow Mosaic £2.99
If you looked in my make-up case you would see that I am quite a bronzer whore. My original favourite was the Glam Bronze Duo by L’Oreal but it soon got replaced by Hoola by Benefit Cosmetics (there have been many in between!) This bronzer by Collection is great as a back up bronzer, or maybe a bag bronzer if you’re prone to smashing them on nights out like me 🙂 It is a good bronzer just slightly too shimmery for me, I like to use my bronzer to contour cheekbones etc.
2True PRO 3D Candy Nail Art £3.00
Okay so I’m not going to lie but I have got no idea how I’m supposed to use this product, but it’s purple, and I do really like purple! I love doing my nails but I’ve never experimented with any 3D art, so if any of you have any tips for me to try this out. PLEASE COMMENT BELOW 🙂
(SAMPLE) Garnier Oil Beauty Lotion £4.99 for 250ml
I do love a good sample, and this was a great sample! I used this after I’d had a shower and there was just enough in the sachet to spread across everywhere. It made my skin super soft not only right away but also for the next couple of days too. It smells lush and the scent stayed with me as well until I had another shower. It dried in quickly and it wasn’t too greasy or anything, I LOVE this product and I’ll be going buying some next payday (the sneaky sample won me over!)
(SAMPLE) Ghost Fragrances Eclipse £33.00 for 50ml
My favourite thing about perfume samples is that you get enough spritzes in them to throw them in your going out bag as a top up whilst you’re on the town. I had already smelled this in store and I think it is a nice smell, I personally wouldn’t buy it as I prefer a sweeter perfume smell, but check it out for yourself because I know plenty of people who love Ghost’s new fragrance.
Overall I absolutely love my Glossybox and so glad I subscribed, I’ll keep you all posted on the Social Media what I get each month and my likes/loves/hates but I won’t bombard you with full reviews unless I just HAVE to share a certain one with you guys 🙂
Please remember that all views are that of my own, prices are if purchased from Superdrug. If you have any questions please feel free to ask, either comment or contact me wherever you like!
